TCA 2012: Fox Lines Up Roster of A-Listers for Animation Domination Voice Work

Johnny Depp, Jon Hamm, J.J. Abrams, Sofia Vergara, Kanye West among those checking in to "The Simpsons," "Bob's Burgers," "Family Guy" and "American Dad."

Fox has lined up a roster of A-listers to lend their voices to its Animation Domination fare.

On The Cleveland Show, Kanye West will play a rapper named Kenny West who runs a secret hip-hop society that Cleveland discovers in the season premiere. In addition, the comedy has added Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj, The Roots' ?questlove, and Modern Family's Sofia Vergara, who will play Tia Sofia, who attempts to convince Cleveland to throw a quinseñera for Cleveland Jr.'s 15th birthday.

Parks and Recreation's Nick Offerman, meanwhile, will play a mildly sexist department store owner who has a run-in with Cleveland. Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23's Krysten Ritter will pop in as an aspiring actress who meets Cleveland when the family moves to California. Subsequent episodes will feature such voices as George Clinton, Dodgers outfielders Andre Eithier, Matt Kemp and fellow sluggers David Ortiz, Jimmy Rollins and Joey Votto. NASCAR's Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kasey Kahne and Tony Stewart will pop by and Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston will continue to recur as the family doctor.

On The Simpsons, the 24th season of the Fox comedy will feature New Girl's Zooey Deschanel voicing Bart's long-lost love as well as former Office star Steve Carell as an accountant for the mob and Patton Oswalt as the new neighbors' son. Also slated to pop into Springfield: Portlandia's Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein, NASCAR's Jeff Gordon, composer Marvin Hamlish, Anika Noni Rose and Jennifer Tilly.

Bob's Burgers will include characters voiced by Zach Galifianakis as Chet, a former department store window dresser pining for his ex-wife who in reality is a mannequin. Offerman will join his wife, Megan Mullally and voice a married couple of hippie farmers. Kevin Kline will return as Bob's landlord; Arrested Development's Jeffrey Tambour will play a crazed cruise ship captain. Also returning this season are Parks and Recreation's Aziz Ansari, Bill Hader and Sarah and Laura Silverman.

Family Guy will see Johnny Depp reprise his role as Edward Scissorhands, while J.J. Abrams, Mark Burnett and Dick Wolf will stop in and follow roles voiced by Jon Hamm, Ryan Reynolds and Kellan Lutz as well as Elizabeth Banks, Sandra Bernhard and Christina Milian.

Lastly, American Dad will feature Patrick Stewart in a recurring role as himself. He'll be joined on the guest roster by Danny Glover, Alison Brie, Charlie Day, Nathan Fillion, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Rupert Grint as well as Hamm.
