Teen Choice Awards 2012: 'Jersey Shore's' DJ Pauly D Says Show 'Should Have Been' Nominated for Emmy (Video)

With five seasons already under its belt, one cast member fresh out of rehab (Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino) and another one expecting her first child (Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi), don't count MTV's Jersey Shore out quite yet.

"It was awesome and honestly, one of my favorite seasons to film," DJ Pauly D told The Hollywood Reporter at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday. "We all came together as a family."

SallyAnn Salsano and her 495 Productions recently wrapped filming on the series' sixth season in Seaside Heights, N.J. While the network declines to comment on any show before it hits the air, fans can likely expect to see Deena Cortese in the slammer, Snooki move out of the roommates' storied beach house, and the same drunken shenanigans that made the show a hit in the first place, according to various reports during filming.

"You might think it wouldn't be crazy 'cause we got a girl that's pregnant and then my boy just got out of rehab, but you're gonna see how we do it and it's one of my favorite seasons," said Pauly D.

While Pauly D is a fan of the upcoming season, he's not a fan of the Emmy voters, who have once again opted not to nominate Salsano or Jersey Shore in any of its reality categories.

"I don't make the rules for that, but I have to disagree with it," Pauly said of their lack of nomination. "They should have been [nominated], but what are you gonna do."
