'This Is Us' Easily Leads 7-Day Ratings Gains for Week 6

This is Us

As it did in the three-day ratings, NBC's This Is Us put up big numbers over seven days of delayed viewing — though not quite as big as it did last season.

The drama's season premiere grew by 4.12 million viewers, ending up at 11.44 million, and 1.14 ratings points in the key ad demographic of adults 18-49 (to finish at 2.56) with a week of delayed viewing. Both are the biggest seven-day gains of the season through Nov. 1.

This Is Us nearly doubled the next-largest gainer in total viewers (2.08 million for The Masked Singer). It also held a 70 percent advantage over the Fox unscripted show's 0.67-point gain in the 18-49 demo.

The week of Oct. 26 also marked the first time this season that more than two shows added at least 2 million viewers over seven days. The Conners (+2.01 million) joined This Is Us and The Masked Singer.

Despite its big gains, This Is Us is pacing a bit behind its seven-day performance from last season. In 2019-20 the series added an average of 4.64 million viewers and 1.4 points to its demo rating.
