The Broncos’ breakout star tweeted his response to reports that he had been approached to star on the ABC reality program, saying he was “definitely not” going to participate. The rumor mill began churning after host Chris Harrison appeared on Access Hollywood Live, where he recalled meeting the quarterback and proposing that he join the show.

“I’ve actually met Tim Tebow. I met him about becoming our next Bachelor,” Harrison said. “I think he’d be a great Bachelor.”

He then clarified: “He did say yes … but he would never do it. He has a little job called quarterback for at least another year.”

Tebow addressed the story on his Twitter account Tuesday, saying: “Haha rumors can be crazy! Even though I’ve watched the show before, I’m definitely not gonna be on The Bachelor.”

The NFL star added the hashtag #JessePalmer, in reference to the sports commentator and former New York Giants QB who appeared on the hit reality show during season five. Palmer, like Tebow, is a University of Florida alum. Palmer is a college football analyst for ESPN and ABC and a football analyst for Canada’s TSN.

Tebow continues to be repped by CAA for his football contracts, but he recently signed with Hollywood talent agency WME to handle all endorsement deals, books, personal appearances and any potential television or movie offers.
