'Top Chef' Hits the High Seas With Fan Cruise

The trio of judges at the 2010 Emmys, where "Top Chef" took home the award for best reality competition.
If you're one of millions addicted to the nail-biting, mouth-watering drama of Bravo's Top Chef, but have long felt deprived of the show's key ingredient -- tasting its food -- then Top Chef: The Cruise might be the vacation for you.
A five-day journey at sea that sets sail from Miami on April 11, 2013, the cruise will stop at Key West and Cozumel, Mexico, and feature the Emmy-winning reality show's judges, Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons, as its hosts. Those hoping to catch Padma Lakshmi conquering a surfing machine, however, will be disappointed: the host and model will not be on board.
Here's who will: Top Chef Masters Hubert Keller and Tim Love, plus eight "chef'testants" -- including audience favorites like season four's Spike Mendelsohn, season six's Jennifer Carroll and season seven's Angelo Sosa and Tifanny Derry, all of whom appeared on Top Chef All-Stars.
Guests will get the chance to "savor events such as interactive 'Quickfire' cooking challenges, culinary demonstrations, question-and-answer sessions, Top Chef menus and celebrity's own award-winning cuisine," according to the cruise website.
Tickets for the cruise -- a joint effort of Bravo Media, Celebrity Cruises, Magical Elves and Rose Tours -- go on sale on Aug. 16, and range from $699 per person for a shared interior stateroom to $5,999 for a Penthouse Suite with Veranda.
Bon voyage and bon appetit.
