Welcome to This Week in TV. In a bid to help you prioritize among all the events, premieres, big episodes and finales, The Hollywood Reporter's eagle-eyed TV team every Monday will take a closer look at what to expect from the week ahead — and provide helpful links and context for each. Here's a handy primer for the events that will likely take over the headlines in the week ahead.

Daily Show Team Reunites on The Late Show, Tuesday, 11:35 p.m.

Stephen Colbert has already welcomed scores of his former Comedy Central colleagues on-air, either as interview guests (or in the many delightful and unexpected roles exec producer Jon Stewart has popped up). But to mark his 20th anniversary in late-night (and as Late Show heads into the final weeks of rating competitions with The Tonight Show), the CBS star is getting them all together for a one-night-only reunion. Guests will include Stewart, Samantha Bee, John Oliver, Ed Helms and Rob Corddry.

Riverdale Wraps Season One Following Killer Reveal, Thursday, 9 p.m.

The noir-esque take on Archie Comics wraps its first season on The CW with a second-season renewal already in the bag. Now that the series has revealed just who killed Jason Blossom (more on that here), questions continue about what will become the new whodunit mystery at the center of the series, and what the complications surrounding that reveal will mean going into season two. One thing viewers can probably count on? The return of Jughead's beloved beanie.

Master of None Returns After an Extended Hiatus, Friday, midnight

It's hard to believe it's been a year-and-half since Aziz Ansari's smart Netflix comedy premiered, but after a long break, the Emmy-winner returns. Season two picks up with Ansari's Dev just returning to NYC from his Italian excursion and diving back into the dating world after his breakup with Rachel (Noel Wells). Guest stars include Bobby Cannavale and John Legend and, most important, Ansari's real-life parents return.

Once Upon a Time Wraps Season Six With an Uncertain Future, Sunday, 8 p.m.

Facing dipping ratings, the ABC fairy-tale drama prepares to close season six Sunday without knowing if it will return for a seventh season. If it does come back, it will likely be a rebooted version of its former self. So just how will Once press the refresh button? Details about the two-hour finale are being kept tight under wraps, but creators and showrunners Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis recently opened up about what may be the show's final episode ever.

NBC Kicks Off Upfronts Week, Sunday

Beginning Monday, look for the broadcast networks to make many major decisions about which shows to renew, which shows to cancel and what new shows will get the green light. It's all in preparation for their Upfront presentations to Madison Avenue the week of May 15. With NBC's presentation set for Monday morning, look for news about the network's 2017-18 schedule to break Sunday, along with first looks at all the new series.
