Suits Still - H 2015

There hasn’t been much discussion surrounding Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) and his big secret during the current season of USA Network’s Suits, but that could all change when a familiar face returns to the series in August.

Adams’ real-life fiancee, Troian Bellisario (Pretty Little Liars) will reprise her role as Claire in the Aug. 12 episode, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.

Viewers first met the character — a former flame of Mike’s — during a flashback in season four's "Fork in the Road" episode. At the time, Claire was a law student who dumped Mike after she learned he was a bike messenger and not a fellow student.

In Bellisario's second episode, titled "Mea Culpa," the timeline remains in the present day and Claire has clearly graduated. She comes back into the fold when she serves as opposing council to Pearson Specter Litt. Naturally, golden boy Mike Ross just so happens to be on the case too. Given the pair's complex background and previous moral issues, it will only be a matter of time before Mike's secret is in danger of exposure once again.

Not to mention the fact that the pair's romantic history could also put a damper on Mike's engagement to Rachel (Meghan Markle). In the past few episodes, it's seemed as though Rachel has started to actually think about the repercussions of what could happen to her and her future children if Mike's secret were to eventually get out. Maybe seeing how one of Mike's former gal pals got out in time will have her rethinking her answer to last season's big proposal.

Or, not. After all, the series has already been renewed for a sixth season

Bellisario is repped by Gersh, Management 360 and Erik Hyman.

How do you think Claire's return will affect Mike and his Harvard secret? Sound off in the comments below.

Suits airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on USA Network.
