TV Ratings: 'AGT,' NBA Playoffs Beat Trump Town Hall

America's Got Talent finished first in total viewers in primetime Tuesday, and an NBA playoff game on ESPN dominated the adults 18-49 rankings. An ABC News special featuring President Trump answering questions from voters ranked seventh in viewers for the night.

AGT came down a little from a week ago, bringing in 5.94 million viewers and a 0.7 rating among adults 18-49 for NBC in the final same-day figures. (Last week it had 6.01 million viewers and a 0.8 in the demo). Transplant followed with 3.63 million viewers, about even with last week, and ticked up to 0.5 in the 18-49 demographic.

ABC's The President and the People: A 20/20 Special Event drew a shade under 4 million viewers (3.97 million) and a 0.6 in the 18-49 demo from 9-10:30 p.m. The shows ahead of it in total audience were AGT, ESPN's Denver Nuggets-Los Angeles Clippers NBA telecast (5.23 million), Fox News' Tucker Carlson Tonight (4.84 million) and Hannity (4.54 million), CBS' Big Brother (4.13 million) and a second NBA game on ESPN (Miami Heat-Boston Celtics, 4.01 million).

Game 7 of the Nuggets-Clippers series also had Tuesday's best 18-49 rating (2.2), along with the second-largest viewer tally of the 2020 playoffs so far. The Heat-Celtics telecast was second in the demo at 1.6. Big Brother led the broadcast networks with a 1.1.
