TV Ratings: 'America's Got Talent' Nabs Another Tuesday Win

'America's Got Talent'
America's Got Talent has been a cornerstone of NBC's summer schedule for nine seasons. The reality competition show, hosted by Nick Cannon and featuring judges Howard Stern, Melanie Brown, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel, has regularly ranked as summer's No. 1 series. The veteran series also recently bested ABC's big swing singing competition Rising Star in the latter's series debut with a special Sunday broadcast.

America's Got Talent was still on top — by a very wide margin — during its second week of the season. The series nabbed a 2.4 rating among adults 18-49, off two-tenths of a point from last week. Lead-out I Can Do That (1.5 adults) fell three tenths of a point from its series premiere, still ranking as the No. 2 show of the night.

The rest of Tuesday's competition saw little-to-no movement from last week, with Fox's Hell's Kitchen (1.1 adults) coming out at the top of the non-NBC pack. Lead-in Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader (0.7 adults) was also steady, while ABC put out a new Extreme Weight Loss (0.8 adults).

Tuesday's only scripted original, iZombie, came in with a steady 0.6 rating in the key demo.
