TV Ratings: 'Big Bang' and 'Scandal' Finales Climb
The Thursday competition will be considerably slimmer next week without two of the night's biggest shows.
Airing their respective season finales, nightly victor The Big Bang Theory and ABC drama Scandal both rose three-tenths of a point for their last outings of the season. The Big Bang Theory led by a wide margin, up to a 3.3 rating among adults 18-49 from last week's low. Mom (1.8 adults) was also up by three-tenths of a point on CBS, while The Odd Couple (1.6 adults), 2 Broke Girls (1.7 adults) and Rush Hour (0.9 adults) were steady.
As for Scandal, it logged a spring ratings high of a 1.8 rating in the key demo. Lead-in Grey's Anatomy still had the advantage with a steady 2.1 demo rating, while the recently renewed The Catch logged a 0.9 rating among adults 18-49.
The Blacklist held a 1.3 rating among adults 18-49 on NBC, sandwiched between Strong and Game of Silence — each averaging a 0.7 rating among adults 18-49.
Bones (0.8 adults) and American Grit (0.6 adults) were steady on Fox, as were Legends of Tomorrow (0.6 adults) and The 100 (0.4 adults) on the CW.
