Big Brother dominated what little Wednesday night had to offer.

The CBS summer flagship, slightly improving its showing from the week-ago premiere, averaged a 1.8 rating among adults 18-49 and 6.1 million viewers.

While clearly the night's top performer in the key demo, it did narrowly lose the audience crown to NBC's Little Big Shots: Forever Young. The show pulled 6.6 million viewers and a steady 1.0 rating among adults 18-49.

NBC also had a new episode of recently canceled The Carmichael Show, pulling another 0.7 rating in the demo. Elsewhere, ABC posted a flat 0.6 rating among adults 18-49 for its only original effort, To Tell the Truth.
