I Am Cait added more than a million viewers in its first round of time-shifting, making it cable's biggest reality launch of 2015.

Sunday's premiere telecast of the E! series, which averaged 2.7 million viewers, climbed to 3.9 million viewers with live-plus three ratings. Adding the encores that E! aired that first Sunday night, the episode has now reached a cumulative 7.7 million viewers across those four airings.

Caitlyn Jenner's eight-episode reality vehicle has skewed especially young, ranking as the second-highest rated launch of the last decade with adults 18-49. The original telecast alone reached 2.3 million adults 18-49, nearly 60 percent of its overall audience.

E!, which sent out digital stats for the series on Friday morning, also cited 27 million video views on Facebook and Twitter.
