Two broadcast series said farewell Monday, with procedural Castle and comedy Mike & Molly airing their final episodes.

Castle, which was unexpectedly canceled last week after eight seasons, closed to a season-high 1.3 rating among adults 18-49. That was two-tenths up from its penultimate episode but relatively steady with its season-seven finale a year ago. Leading into the finale was a steady episode of Dancing With the Stars (1.7 adults).

Over on CBS, Mike & Molly aired its two last episodes back to back. The first showing at 8 p.m. dipped two-tenths to a 1.4 rating, but the second episode rose to a 1.6 rating at 8:30 p.m. New episodes of The Odd Couple (1.3 adults) and Person of Interest (0.9 adults) were even with last week's ratings.

NBC was also solid with even showings of The Voice (2.1 adults) and Blindspot (1.3 adults).

On Fox, Gotham registered a 1.3 rating, while Houdini & Doyle notched a 0.6 rating once again. The CW was steady thanks to a new episode of Reign (0.3 adults) and the season finale of Jane the Virgin (0.4 adults).
