The Cleveland Cavailers' win in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night delivered big for ABC.

A whopping 16.5 million viewers tuned in to watch the Cavs' 120-90 victory over the Golden State Warriors — generating a 6.1 rating among adults 18 to 49 and an 11.8 rating in metered markets.

The key turnout makes it the third-highest-rated Game 3 ever on ABC, though it's down from Game 1's impressive 13.1 metered-market household rating and Game 2's 12.4.

Elsewhere on TV, NBC’s American Ninja Warrior remained strong opposite the NBA tilt with a 1.6 rating in the key demo, even with its premiere outing last week. Meanwhile, The Night Shift dipped two-tenths of a point from a 1.1 rating to a 0.9 this week.

Fox's MasterChef and Wayward Pines both remained steady week to week.

Thanks to the NBA Finals, ABC dominated the night with a whopping 4.2 rating among adults 18-to-49 and an estimated 15 million total viewers.
