TV Ratings: 'Duets' Finale Drops, 'Big Brother' Tops Thursday

ABC's singing competition goes out on a series low, as CBS tops the night among adults 18-49 and viewers.

CBS scored another Thursday win last night with a new outing of Big Brother and an especially strong encore of The Big Bang Theory. The reality show was down 15 percent in fast national ratings from last week's Thursday premiere, posting a 2.2 rating among adults 18-49, driving the network to a 1.8 adults rating overall and 6.5 million viewers. Big Bang was the top broadcast of the night in the demo with a 2.4 adults rating.

Univision earned second place status of a 1.5 rating in the demo, while ABC came in third with the downward finale of Duets. The singing competition's last episode fell a tenth of a point for a 0.9 rating among adults 18-49, hitting a new series low. Wipeout, also down, was at a 1.6 adults rating. Rookie Blue managed to grow, however, posting 17 percent gains for a 1.4 adults rating. The network averaged a 1.3 adults rating and 4.8 million viewers.

Take Me Out was even with last week's showing on Fox, posting a 1.2 rating among adults 18-49. Encores of New Girl finished out the night, giving the network a 1.1 adults rating and 2.7 million viewers.

On NBC, Saving Hope was even with even with last week's 0.5 adults rating, while Rock Center With Brian Williams was down 42 percent for a 0.7 in the demo. The network averaged a 0.6 with adults 18-49 and 2.7 million viewers.

Encores on The CW brought in a 0.2 adults rating and 637,000 viewers.
