NBC nabbed a Tuesday win, though not without losing a bit of steam from increased competition.

The second night of ABC's extended (read: five-hour-long) season finale of The Bachelor notched a strong 2.2 rating among adults 18-49 over two hours. That score was enough to narrowly top NBC's The Voice (2.1 adults) and tie typically dominant This Is Us for Tuesday bragging rights. This Is Us' 2.2 rating in the key demo marked a three-tenths of a point dip, its lowest same-day score since October.

But overall fortunes were in NBC's favor. Not only did its lineup easily outperform The Bachelor among total viewers, it doubled ABC at 10 p.m. with an even Chicago Med (1.4 adults), trouncing ABC's mildly improved Kevin (Probably) Saves the World (0.7 adults).

Elswehere, CBS' block saw NCIS (1.4 adults) get a lift before flat episodes of Bull (1.1 adults) and NCIS: New Orleans (0.9 adults). On Fox, Lethal Weapon (1.0 adults), L.A. to Vegas (0.7 adults) and The Mick (0.6 adults) all held. And the CW was also unmoved with new episodes of The Flash (0.7 adults) and Black Lightning (0.5 adults).
