TV Ratings: 'This Is Us' Heads Into Hiatus on High Note
This Is Us concluded its winning fall streak Tuesday night with a strong midseason finale.
The NBC drama, this season's breakout hit, closed the first part of its freshman run by tying a series same-day high 2.8 rating among adults 18-49 and hitting a new best with audiences — 10.93 million viewers.
Combined with a even episodes of The Voice and Chicago Fire, which earned respective scores of a 1.9 rating and 1.7 rating in the key demo, NBC logged another Tuesday win.
NCIS lost only the slightest amount of steam on CBS, earning a 1.7 rating among adults 18-49, while Bull (1.5 adults) and NCIS: New Orleans (1.2 adults) held even. The Middle (1.4 adults) and The Real O'Neals (0.8 adults) experienced slight week-to-week fatigue on ABC — but American Housewife (1.4 adults), Fresh Off the Boat (1.1 adults) and Agents of SHIELD (0.8 adults) were all even.
On Fox, Brooklyn Nine-Nine (1.0 adults), New Girl (0.8 adults) and Scream Queens (0.5 adults) were even — as the CW saw a post-crossover dip for The Flash (1.2 adults) before an even No Tomorrow (0.3 adults).
