TV Ratings: 'MasterChef Junior' Leads Broadcast on State of the Union Night

Gordon Ramsay's flagship continues to cook for Fox and will be back for its sixth season.

MasterChef Junior led a State of the Union-skewed Tuesday night on the broadcast networks.

The Fox competition, even with its most recent 1.7 rating among adults 18-49, was the top performer in the key demo — that is at least until time zone adjustments come for President Obama's 9 p.m. telecast.

Competition came from Parks and Recreation, steady with last week's premiere score of a 1.5 rating among adults 18-49, and The CW. The fifth broadcast network, the only one to air original programming at 9 p.m, had new episodes of The Flash (1.3 adults) and Supernatural (1.0 adults).

Final tallies for the State of the Union won't come until later on Wednesday — though its broadcast performance looks largely even with last year — with NBC leading younger viewers and CBS pulling in the biggest audience.
