TV Ratings: 'Mike & Molly' Rises Ahead of Finale

CBS' Melissa McCarthy vehicle Mike and Molly has been a sturdy performer off the bench for the network and will be back for a sixth season, ensuring that exec producer Chuck Lorre has three shows on the Eye in 2015-16.

Going back-to-back at 8 p.m., two episodes of Mike & Molly climbed Monday night. With the CBS comedy's series finale set to air next week, the pre-penultimate outings averaged a respective 1.6 and 1.7 rating among adults 18-49. Both were up three-tenths of a point from the prior week's comparable outings.

Elsewhere on CBS, The Odd Couple (1.3 adults) held steady, while Person of Interest dropped two-tenths of a point to a 1.0 rating among adults 18-49.

The Voice led the night, even with last week's 2.1 rating among adults 18-49 on NBC. Blindspot (1.4 adults) was steady, leading the 10 p.m. hour. On ABC, Dancing With the Stars (1.8 adults) and Castle (1.1 adults) were both steady — as were Gotham (1.2 adults) and Houdini & Doyle (0.6 adults) on Fox.

The CW had new episodes of Reign and Jane the Virgin, with each averaging a 0.3 rating in the key demo.
