TV Ratings: MLB All-Star Game Leads Tuesday, 'America's Got Talent' Holds Steady

'America's Got Talent'
America's Got Talent has been a cornerstone of NBC's summer schedule for nine seasons. The reality competition show, hosted by Nick Cannon and featuring judges Howard Stern, Melanie Brown, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel, has regularly ranked as summer's No. 1 series. The veteran series also recently bested ABC's big swing singing competition Rising Star in the latter's series debut with a special Sunday broadcast.

Fox easily nabbed No. 1 status on Tuesday night thanks to the MLB All Star Game. Though full time-zone-adjusted ratings won't be available until later Wednesday afternoon, it's tracking on par with last year with an initial 2.8 rating among adults 18-49.

America's Got Talent didn't lose any steam with the increased competition, nor did Hollywood Game Night. The NBC duo were both steady with a respective 2.4 and 1.5 rating among adults 18-49.

Zoo (1.0 adults) dropped two-tenths of a point from last week's showing on CBS, while Extreme Weight Loss (0.8 adults) improved two-tenths of a point for ABC.
