It wasn't the busiest Monday, but what new broadcast offerings there were did not seem to benefit from the absence of competition.

Two of the night's scant five original series were down from the previous week, as a steady Bachelorette claimed the demo throne for ABC with an average 1.9 rating among adults 18-49. The show was also the night's most-watched, with 6.75 million viewers.

NBC's American Ninja Warrior (1.7 adults) and Fox's So You Think You Can Dance (0.7 adults) were each off by two-tenths of a point in the key demo, going head-to-head with The Bachelorette.

The 10 p.m. hour saw ABC's Mistresses hold its 0.8 rating among adults 18-49, while a mostly steady BrainDead earned a 0.4 rating in the key demo on CBS. Four episodes in, that stands as a series low.
