President Donald Trump briefly hijacked primetime Monday night with an address about increasing the U.S. presence in Afghanistan, splitting up such Big Four efforts as American Ninja Warrior and Bachelor in Paradise — rendering their initial ratings subject to change.

NBC still looks likely to top the night, though it tied at 8 p.m. with a shared 1.4 rating among adults 18-49 for both Ninja Warrior and ABC's Paradise. (On Fox, So You Think You Can Dance pulled a steady 0.7 rating.)

Everything after 9 o'clock is tentatively scored, on account of the address only airing in primetime on the East Coast, but NBC still looks like it will safely lock a win for the night. In Fast Affiliate returns, it leads coverage among both total viewers and adults 18-49.
