TV Ratings: PGA Overage Drives CBS Sunday, 'Teen Choice Awards' See Youth Boost

The relatively steady CBS lineup wins the evening by both measures, while Fox's younger-skewing kudos drops with adults 18-49 but rises with teens.

CBS, still down roughly 3.2 million viewers due to an ongoing carriage blackout with Time Warner Cable customers in New York, Los Angeles and Dallas, won Sunday with new episodes of Big Brother (2.2 rating adults 18-49) and Unforgettable (1.3 adults). Big Brother held steady with last week, while the latter was up by one-tenth of a point -- though the network's entire block benefited from eight minutes of overage from the PGA Championship. Ahead of time zone adjustments, CBS averaged a 1.4 rating with adults 18-49 and 6.9 million viewers.

On ABC, Secret Millionaire (1.0 adults) dropped two-tenths from its season premiere, and Whodunnit? (1.1 adults) inched up by a tenth of a point. ABC took a 0.9 adults rating and 3.8 million viewers for the night.

Fox led into the 2013 Teen Choice Awards with animation encores, pulling a 0.9 rating with adults 18-49 and 2.6 million viewers during the two-hour award show. That's a one-tenth dip from last year's show -- but it marks an improvement in the targeted teen demographic, where it rose to a 2.8 rating (up from a 2.4 rating last summer). The network averaged a 0.9 adults rating and 2.4 million viewers for the night.

Crossing Lines (0.5 adults) was steady with a low on NBC, giving the network a nightly average of a 0.6 rating with adults 18-49 and 2.6 million viewers.

Univision averaged a 0.7 rating with adults 18-49 and 2.1 million viewers. Telemundo had a 0.6 adults rating and 1.3 million viewers.
