TV Ratings: RNC Eve Trump Interview Is Sunday's Most-Watched

'60 Minutes,' though not really boosted from its recent showings, pulls the night's biggest audience.

CBS got a head start on all of the convention frenzy sure to dominate TV this week. The network aired the first interview with GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump and his VP pick Mike Pence on 60 Minutes.

Lesley Stahl's exclusive sit-down ahead of Monday's RNC kickoff in Cleveland, Ohio, was on par with last week's episode, a repeat, though it did rank as the night's most-watched telecast. Fast Affiliate ratings from Nielsen give 60 Minutes 7.85 million viewers and a 0.8 rating among adults 18-49. That's down from the typical showing of an original 60 Minutes, though much-improved from its typical Sunday showing.

Lead-out Big Brother ranked as the night's top performer among adults 18-49, pulling a steady 1.8 rating in the key demo.

ABC offered the only original competition of the night. Its three-series block of game shows held with last week, though Celebrity Family Feud inched ahead of $100,000 Pyramid for the night's top honors. They earned a respective 1.5 and 1.4 rating among adults 18-49.

An even Match Game brought a 1.2 rating in the key demo at 10 o'clock.
