NFL fans still had an appetite after a long weekend of games. Sunday Night Football topped the evening for NBC, virtually tied with its week ago score.

The overtime battle between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos brought a steady 11. 8 rating among households, per Nielsen's metered markets. It stands to win the the night for the network by all measures, even with significant NFL overrun lifting CBS.

In the 7 p.m. hour, CBS surged with additional football. Shifted episodes of the net's regular lineup performed well on its heels, particularly 60 Minutes. Prior to adjustments, the newsmagazine averaged a 2.3 rating in the key demo of adults 18-49 and 15.5 million viewers. NCIS: Los Angeles (1.4 adults), Madam Secretary (0.9 adults) and Elementary (0.6 adults) followed. (All of those scores are tentative until final adjustments are made.)

Fox aired repeats, leaving ABC as the only other Big Four player to push originals at the end of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Once Upon a Time led the trio of dramas with an even 1.0 rating among adults 18-49. Secrets and Lies and Quantico each pulled a 0.7 rating in the key demo. The latter's live-plus-same-day scores continue to be dwarfed by time-shifting, which is perhaps why ABC is moving the sophomore run to Mondays in January.
