Welcome to another episode of TV's Top 5, The Hollywood Reporter's TV podcast.
Every week, hosts Lesley Goldberg (West Coast TV editor) and Daniel Fienberg (chief TV critic) break down the latest TV news with context from the business and critical sides, welcome showrunners, executive and other guests and provide a critical guide of what to watch (or skip, as the case may be).

This week's five topics are:

1. Emmys wrap.
Who expected Schitt's Creek to sweep the comedy categories? Was HBO beating Netflix for most wins a shocker or not? Plus, what worked from the virtual telecast and what didn't? And were the NBA playoffs a factor in the ratings low? We'll break it all down.

2. DC Max?
The fate of DC Universe has been revealed. But in moving originals to HBO Max, is the streamer creating a tangled and confusing DC universe of its own with originals from the likes of J.J. Abrams, Matt Reeves, Greg Berlanti and James Gunn? Which are connected? Which are made with big budgets? We already have questions.

3. Return to production.
This week, the guilds and studios came to an agreement on a new set of safety protocols that pave the way for many cameras to roll again. As filming begins again, this segment looks at one facet of the expected fallout that comes with shooting during a pandemic: cast departures.

4. Showrunner Spotlight.
Fargo boss Noah Hawley joins the show for what turned out to be a two-part interview, with the first done in January and the second this month. The first part focuses on what to expect from the Chris Rock-led fourth season of the series, while the second explores what happened after the pandemic shut down shooting and pushed the series back from its original April premiere date.

5. Critic's Corner.
As usual, every episode ends with Dan's look at what to watch (or skip). This week, he weighs in on Fargo, The Comey Rule, Utopia, Wilderness of Error and Sneakerheads.

Hear it all now on TV's Top 5. Be sure to subscribe to the podcast to never miss an episode. (Reviews welcome!) You can also email us with any topics or questions you'd like to be addressed in future episodes at TVsTop5@THR.com.
