'Twilight: Eclipse' to Air on Showtime as 'Weeds,' 'Big C' Lead-In

The pay cable network will air the Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner vampire pic ahead of the season premieres of its returning dark comedies.

In an effort to boost the viewership for Weeds and The Big C, Showtime will premiere Eclipse, the third film in the Twilight saga, on Monday ahead of the season premieres for its two returning dramedies.

Weeds picks up three years after the Season 6 finale that saw Mary-Louise Parker’s Nancy Botwin taken into custody by the FBI for murder and sees the Botwins relocate to New York upon her release from prison.

Starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, Eclipse is directed by David Slate and based on the best-selling book by Stephenie Meyer.
