Adam Scott is entering the fifth dimension.

The Parks and Recreation grad has signed on to star in one of the stand-alone episodes of the CBS All Access anthology The Twilight Zone.

Scott will appear in the episode called "Nightmare at 30,000 Feet." Additional details about the episode and his role in it are being kept under wraps.

The title of the episode, at least, appears to be a riff on one of the original show's more famous episodes, "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet." Based on a story by Richard Matheson, the 1963 episode featured a pre-Star Trek William Shatner as a man who sees a gremlin on the wing of an airliner but can't get anyone else on the flight to believe him.

The episode was remade as a segment in Twilight Zone: The Movie and parodied in a Simpsons "Treehouse of Horror" installment in 1993.

Scott, whose recent credits include Big Little Lies and Ghosted, becomes the latest actor to join the anthology, from exec producer and host Jordan Peele. Sanaa Lathan was previously announced as the star for an episode called "Rewind."

The Twilight Zone hails from CBS TV Studios, Peele's Monkeypaw Productions and Simon Kinberg's Genre Films. Peele and Kinberg serve as exec producers alongside Win Rosenfeld, Audrey Chon, Carol Serling, Rick Berg and Greg Yaitanes. In addition to hosting and exec producing, Peele will also serve as the narrator for the reboot.

The series is expected to debut on CBS All Access, the subscription video-on-demand platform, in 2019.

Scott is repped by WME, Rise Management and Wendy Heller Law.
