An Emmy-winning series comes to an end, a former broadcast series is revived and a Comedy Central regular gets a new series: Those are among the highlights for the week of May 5-11.

Here is The Hollywood Reporter's rundown of some of the coming week's highlights. It would be next to impossible to watch everything, but let THR point the way to worthy options each week. All times are ET/PT unless noted.

On broadcast …

Returning: Agents of SHIELD (8 p.m. Friday, ABC) begins its sixth season after nearly a year away — and two weeks after Avengers: Endgame reset the Marvel universe. Oh, and that guy who looks just like Coulson (Clark Gregg) is up to no good.

Revived: A new version of Paradise Hotel premieres at 8 p.m. Thursday on Fox. Kristin Cavallari hosts a group of singles who will vie to stay in a luxury resort for as long as possible.

Finales: Man With a Plan (8:30 p.m. Monday, CBS); The Goldbergs, Schooled, Modern Family and Single Parents (starting at 8 p.m. Wednesday, ABC); Empire and Star (starting at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Fox); MacGyver (8 p.m. Friday, CBS); Blue Bloods (10 p.m. Friday, CBS); Last Man Standing, The Cool Kids and Proven Innocent (starting at 8 p.m. Friday, Fox); and Shark Tank (10 p.m. Sunday, May 11, ABC).

On cable …

Series finales: After seven seasons and a boatload of Emmys, Veep ends its run on HBO at 10:50 p.m. Sunday, May 11, as Selina Meyer's (Julia Louis-Drefyus) latest campaign for president comes to a climax. Also, Shadowhunters wraps up a three-season run on Freeform (8 p.m. Monday) with a two-and-a-half-hour finale.

New: Showtime delves into the career and influence of the Wu-Tang Clan with docuseries Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men. The first of four parts debuts at 9 p.m. Friday.

Also new: Jordan Klepper's new series Klepper (10:30 p.m. Thursday, Comedy Central) takes him around the country to explore pressing issues. Plus: limited series Chernobyl (9 p.m. Monday, HBO) and shortform comedy State of the Union (10 p.m. Monday, Sundance), starring Chris O'Dowd and Rosamund Pike.

Returning: The Haves and the Have Nots (9 p.m. Tuesday, OWN) and Our Cartoon President (8 p.m. Sunday, May 11, Showtime).

On streaming …

Revived: After three seasons on Fox (and a year off in-between), Lucifer returns as a Netflix series. The new run will pick up right after the events of season three and Lucifer's (Tom Ellis) revealing his devil face to Chloe (Lauren German).

New: The Society (Friday, Netflix) is a Lord of the Flies-esque tale in which teenagers in a New England town wake up to discover their parents have disappeared. What starts as a party soon turns dark.

Returning: The third season of Sneaky Pete debuts Friday on Amazon.

In case you missed it …

Christina Applegate stars on Dead to Me as a woman grieving the loss of her husband who makes a new friend (Linda Cardellini) in a support group. Things take a turn, and as THR's review points out, even if it's overstuffed, the two leads are "quite wonderful." It is streaming on Netflix.
