It’s still game on for VH1’s Basketball Wives: LA.

The network has renewed the reality series for a fifth season. The news was announced ahead of the show's season four finale, which airs Sunday, Oct. 4, at 9 p.m. The network is also running a reunion special of Basketball Wives on Sunday, Oct. 11, at at 9 p.m.

The past season saw Draya Michele, Malaysia Pargo, Brandi Maxiell, and Jackie Christie return to the court, while Shaunie O’Neal joined the crew to try to keep the peace. Also added to the clique was wife of player Eddy Curry, Pargo’s friend Patrice Curry, Christie’s friend Mehgan James, and Michele’s friend and fashion designer Angel Brinks. Between the new personalities, old grudges and major life challenges, the drama was only on the rise.

Basketball Wives: LA is produced by Shed Media, with executive producers O’Neal, Pam Healey, Lisa Shannon, Sean Rankine, Mark Seliga, Amanda Scott, Susan Levison, Jill Holmes, Fernando Mills and Paula Aranda.
