Jennifer Lopez Rectifies Jennifer Lawrence's Met Gala Mishap on 'Tonight Show' (Video)

Jennifer Lopez Jimmy Fallon Dance - H 2014

Remember that Met Gala dance-floor "diss" Jennifer Lawrence talked about recently on the Tonight Show? Well, Jimmy Fallon finally cleared the air with Jennifer Lopez.

Here’s the story, as Lawrence relayed during her May appearance: At the Met Gala, Lawrence and Fallon eyed Lopez across the room and desperately wanted to dance with her. Their plan was simple, do a few turns before telling J.Lo to join them on the dance floor, "Dance with me." But, Lawrence said, Fallon left her high and dry.

Lopez recalled that same Met Gala moment — only her story was slightly different. In any event, Fallon asked Lopez to make good, eventually asking her to dance. "Jennifer Lawrence, I hope you’re watching!" Fallon exclaimed.

Fallon went on to debut his latest mashup with Brian Williams, as the NBC newsman "rapped" for Sir Mix a Lot’s "Baby Got Back."

Along with having New York Mayor Bill de Blasio sing a very awkward rendition of "I Love L.A." after losing a bet over the Stanley Cup Final with L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti, Jimmy Kimmel had Kings star players Justin Williams and Alec Martinez on the show.

Martinez, who scored the Cup-winning goal, admitted: "When we all get together, we do a pretty good job of ripping up the town," when asked about the post game celebrations. As for their playoff beards, he said he liked the tradition but "it feels good when it's gone."

Kimmel asked the Keeper of the Cup if he "could wash a dog in it, turn it over and play bongos on it, draw fake boobs on it?" The answer to all was "no" until he got to, "Can we line the rim with salt and make a big margarita in it?" So out came the tequila and the straws as the players, Kimmel and Guillermo chugged margaritas out of the Cup.

The next guest, Game of Thrones star Lena Headey said they don't have send-offs for castmembers when their characters get killed on the show. The British actress, who plays Cercei Lannister, also admitted that she's posted some potential spoilers on Instagram, along with a few red herrings. "That was me drunk in Palm Springs," she confessed, before sharing wine from Game of Thrones-style goblets with Kimmel.

Over on CBS' Late Show With David Letterman, guest Susan Sarandon was accompanied by her Pomeranian-Maltese mix Penny in a stars-and-stripes doggy dress. The actress described her latest role in Tammy with Melissa McCarthy as "an alcoholic, pill-popping horny grandmother."

On NBC's Late Night, Seth Meyers welcomed guest Wanda Sykes, who warned him that if he has children, "Just think about your life now, and just throw it away. Clear the table," said the mother of twins. "Now I have no idea what's going on in the world. Is Obama still president?"
