As the World Cup matches are drawing record ratings worldwide, one South Korean sportscaster is gaining popularity for his spirited — and long-winded — coverage.

During Monday's Germany-Portugal game (which began at 1 a.m. local time), sportscaster Jeong Woo-young, who works for national network SBS, tried his shot at a Latin American-style goal announcement, according to The Wall Street Journal.
