'The Voice' Top 10 Revealed
One artist was eliminated from the Top 11 on NBC's The Voice on Tuesday night. The bottom two vote-getters after Monday night’s voting had to sing for the Instant Save, and only one could advance to next week’s performances. Coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson and Adam Levine all hoped their teams would remain intact.
The first artists voted through to the Top 10 were Team Jennifer’s Kennedy Holmes and Team Kelly’s Kymberli Joye.
Shelton and his artists then took the stage for a performance of “Dixieland Delight.” The next artists who automatically advanced to next week were Team Adam’s Reagan Strange and Team Blake’s Chris Kroeze.
The host of this season’s online webseries The Comeback Stage, Kelsea Ballerini, then performed her new single “Miss Me More.” Team Blake’s Kirk Jay and Team Jennifer’s MaKenzie Thomas were the next artists to advance.
Hudson and her team performed Bette Midler’s “The Rose” ahead of more results. Team Kelly’s Sarah Grace, Team Blake’s Dave Fenley and Team Kelly’s Chevel Shepherd were all voted through.
That left Team Kelly’s Lynnea Moore and Team Adam’s Deandre Nico to sing for the Instant Save. Moore started with a performance of “Tattooed Heart” by Ariana Grande. Her nerves were showing, but she still proved to have a gorgeous voice.
Nico went next, singing “Take Me to The King” by Tamela Mann, going for a big gospel song to close out the night and fight for his spot. He thrived in the high-pressure situation and didn’t let his nerves get to him. Unsurprisingly, he sailed through to the Top 10, and Moore went home.
Next week, two artists will go home after the Top 10 perform live for America’s vote. What did you think of Tuesday night’s results?
