The top 24 became the top 13 on NBC's The Voice on Tuesday night after a brutal round of cuts determined by viewer votes. Eight artists were voted through, and coaches Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton and John Legend each got to pick an additional artist. Two comeback artists also sang against each other for an Instant Save.

In the first round of results, America voted through Team Blake’s Gyth Rigdon and Carter Lloyd Horne and Team Legend’s Shawn Sounds.

Levine took the stage with his team to perform “Is This Love,” and then it was time for more results. America voted to save Team Kelly’s Rod Stokes and Team Blake’s Kim Cherry.

Clarkson performed her new song "Broken and Beautiful." The next artists voted through were Team Blake’s Dexter Roberts and Andrew Sevener. Team Legend’s Maelyn Jarmon also made it through.

Bebe Rexha had the winner of The Comeback Stage, Kanard Thomas, sing against eliminated member of Team Adam LB Crew. Thomas sang "Call Out My Name" by The Weeknd, giving a soulful, smooth performance with solid runs and emotional vulnerability. Crew followed with a performance of "Electric Feel" by MGMT, making the song his own and putting on a dynamic show.

Crew won the Instant Save and was given the opportunity to pick his coach. He went with Levine, whose team was definitely hurting after the night’s cuts.

Then the coaches selected which of their remaining artists would round out the top 13. Shelton saved Oliv Blu, Clarkson saved Jej Vinson, Legend saved Celia Babini and Levine saved Mari.

The top 13 finalists will perform next week on The Voice.
