With nearly a year’s wait between seasons, AMC’s The Walking Dead can’t get here fast enough.

After the first image from Season 2 of the Frank Darabont zombie drama hit last month, a new fan-made teaser trailer for the series based on Robert Kirkman’s comics has been released.

The 30-second clip doesn’t offer much other than an eerie look at just what it takes to really kill a zombie – under the tutelage of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln).

Kirkman told The Hollywood Reporter in May that the 13-episode second season will pick up immediately after the CDC explosion. “The last time we saw our characters, they were loaded up into the RV and they were driving away from the CDC,” Kirkman said. “We will definitely see where that caravan is going and follow them on their journey. So, pretty much where we get blown up.”

Check out the trailer below. Season 2 of The Walking Dead premieres in the fall.
