Alec Baldwin showed off some workout moves on The Tonight Show on Friday night while trying to prove to host Jimmy Fallon that he is in just as good of shape as his wife Hilaria.

The actor, comedian and host of the upcoming Alec Baldwin Show on ABC busted some moves after taking issue with Fallon's assessment that he "looked good" and thus his "wife must be rubbing off" on him.

Alec responded that everyone is always telling him how "beatiful," "fit" and "wonderful" Hilaria is. "I know my wife is all these things, but I can work out, I can take care of myself," he said. "You can see this glint of them looking at me, thinking, 'What is she doing with you?'" Alec said. He then challenged his wife, who was waiting on the wings of the 30 Rock stage, to a push-up contest.

Alec won when Hilaria gave up and began posing on the ground instead of doing push-ups, but his victory didn't last for long. "I want to know if you can do this," Hilaria said before performing a headstand in a dress and high heels. Baldwin, attempting the same, ended up falling backward onto Fallon's couch.

Also during the appearance, Alec explained the format of his upcoming show, which will consist of one-hour interviews edited to reveal the most interesting information. The first episode will feature Robert de Niro and Taraji P. Henson; the second will just be devoted to a Kim Kardashian interview.

When Fallon learned that De Niro, who was Fallon's first guest on his late-night show, would be Alec's first guest, Fallon said, "I will say, I love him: 'he doesn't like to talk."

"It was an interesting way to do a talk show," Baldwin added. The two then proceeded to do De Niro impressions.
