Damian Lewis is back on Showtime, but it's safe to say his latest role is a far cry from Nicholas Brody.

On Wednesday, Showtime released the first trailer for the its new Wall Street drama Billions. The Emmy winner, who starred on the network's acclaimed drama Homeland for three seasons, plays an ambitious and brilliant hedge fund king named Bobby "Axe" Axelrod. Lewis stars opposite Paul Giamatti as hard charging and politically savvy U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades. The fictional drama will center on the impending collision between these two titanic figures.

Maggie Siff, Malin Akerman, Toby Leonard Moore, David Costabile and Condola Rashad also star in the project.

Billions is written and executive produced by RoundersBrian Koppelman and David Levien along with The New York Times' Andrew Ross Sorkin and Neil Burger (Divergent), who helmed the pilot.

The 12-episode first season will premiere on Showtime in 2016.
