Who else, besides God, is there to talk to when you're the last person left on earth?

That's the conceit of Fox's new half-hour comedy, which bows March 1 with a special one-hour series premiere. In The Last Man on Earth, a deathly virus wipes out all but one person from the world, Phil Miller (Will Forte). The single-camera comedy hails from Forte and The Lego Movies creators Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

In this exclusive clip, Phil lies in bed in a newly discovered home in Tucson, Arizona, lamenting his lack of female companions to God. "First of all, apologies for all the recent masturbation," he says, "but I got to say, that's kind of on you."

We know that Phil won't be without women in his life for long, however, as January Jones, Kristen Schaal, Cleopatra Coleman and Mary Steenburgen have boarded the series.
