Wesley Snipes Inks First-Look TV Development Deal With Sony

The deal extends the actor's relationship with the studio after signing on to star in drama pilot 'Endgame' for NBC.

Wesley Snipes is getting back to producing.

The actor, fresh off signing up to star in NBC pilot Endgame, has solidified a first-look development deal with the studio behind the drama, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Under the pact, Snipes and his Maandi Media production banner will develop and produce diverse projects with an appeal to the actor's international audience.

"It's very exciting to be putting on my producing hat again," Snipes said. "I'm looking forward to reuniting with the studio responsible for the success of my film The Fan."

Snipes boarded NBC thriller Endgame, produced by Sony Pictures Television and John Davis and John Fox, the duo responsible for NBC's James Spader hit The Blacklist

Set against the backdrop of the high-stakes world of Las Vegas, Snipes will star as a physically dangerous, unflappable and highly intelligent pit boss/cleaner who always has his eye on the big picture. 

Snipes' credits include the Blade trilogy, New Jack City, Waiting to Exhale, Too Wong Foo Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar, White Men Can't Jump, Murder at 1600 and One Night Stand.
