Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy are officially sticking around through 2023.

CBS Television Distribution has extended the syndicated game shows for three additional seasons beyond the current deal. The last pact with producers Sony Pictures Television kept the pair of shows on through the 2019-2020 broadcast season. The new deal extends that through the 2022-2023 season. That takes Wheel through its 40th season and Jeopardy to its 39th. Both series will continue to air on ABC Owned Television Stations.

"Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy are two of the longest-running shows on television — and for good reason,” Steve Hackett, president of sales for CBS TV Distribution, said Monday in a statement. “They consistently deliver entertaining, timeless programming that the whole family can enjoy together, creating whole new generations of fans. We’re excited they will continue to anchor stations’ lineups, delivering eyeballs and ad dollars to our partners, for many years to come.”

The renewals come on the heels of the new deals that Jeopardy's Alex Trebek and Wheel duo Pat Sajak and Vanna White signed with Sony TV. Those deals, announced last Wednesday, will keep the trio on their respective series through the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons.
