Fox is moving forward with comedy Linda From HR.

The network has handed out a cast-contingent pilot order to the single-camera comedy, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Linda From HR hails from executive producer Aaron Kaplan, who now has three pilots in the works this season. Here's the official logline: "All it takes is one bad decision to throw Linda from HR's monotonous, unfulfilled life into an exciting but dangerous tailspin of balancing work life, home life and a secret that could unravel everything."

Geoff Barbanell and Itai Grunfeld will pen the script and executive produce the project, which landed at Fox with a script commitment at Fox. The comedy stems from Tracy Katsky's Kat Co. and Kaplan's Kapital Entertainment. 20th Century Fox Television is the studio. Kaplan, Katsky and Dana Honor also exec produce.

Workplace comedies are expected to be a hot genre this pilot season, with a few — including NBC's high school-set comedy from Seth Meyers — already in the works.

Linda From HR becomes Fox's second comedy pilot order of the season. It joins Liz Meriwether's Antarctica-set single-camera entry Thin Ice, which has already begun casting after an early pickup.

For Kaplan, this is his third comedy pilot order of the young season. Linda joins CBS' Mark Feuerstein family comedy 9J, 9K, and 9L as well as Boyhood-style entry Me, Myself and I.
