Young Sheldon will be back on Big Little Lies.

Iain Armitage, who has gone on to star in the top launch of the 2017-18 broadcast season (CBS' Young Sheldon) since appearing on the hit HBO series, is among the latest (and final) crop of actors set to return for season two.

Armitage, James Tupper and Jeffrey Nordling have all closed their deals to return, joining previously announced castmembers Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern, Zoë Kravitz and Adam Scott, rounding out much of the primary cast. (The only big addition named thus far, and it's as big as they get, is Meryl Streep.)

The slow roll of casting news out of Big Little Lies is because a second season was never expected — so none of the actors signed multiyear deals. Getting the major players back together is one of the reasons the formal renewal took so long.

Though one of the youngest members of the Big Little Lies cast, Armitage played a significant role and narrative driver in the show about small-town social politics.
