'You're the Worst' Cast to Reunite for Feeding America Benefit (Exclusive)
Break out the Breakfast Nachos and Trash Juice!
The cast and creator of FXX's critically acclaimed comedy You're the Worst are reuniting for a fundraiser to benefit Feeding America.
The Sunday Funday (when else?!) event will be live-streamed Jan. 31 at 6 p.m. EST and feature series creator Stephen Falk as well as stars Aya Cash (Gretchen), Chris Geere (Jimmy), Kether Donohue (Lindsay), Desmin Borges (Edgar) and recurring favorites Todd Robert Anderson (Vernon), Darrell Britt-Gibson (Shitstain), Allen Maldonado (Honeynutz), Allan McLeod (Paul), Brandon Mychal Smith (Sam), Janet Varney (Becca) and Collette Wolfe (Dorothy). Leah Wellbaum, the lead singer of Slothtrust, will perform the show's theme song, "7:30AM," live. Additional talent will be announced at a later date.
The reunion will feature a live-streamed reading of You're the Worst's season two episode that's somewhat fittingly titled "A Rapidly Mutating Virus," followed by a moderated Q&A discission.
You're the Worst ran for five seasons on FXX and ended its run in April 2019. The entire series is available to stream on Hulu.
The reunion is backed by Play-PerView, which has already organized 37 live-streamed events and raised nearly $200,000 to support arts organizations and other charities that have been impacted by the novel coronavirus pandemic. Jeremy Wein is producing the event. Play-PerView's next TV-focused reunion is set for Jan. 23, featuring the cast and creators of NBC's Timeless.
