Two robbers steal piles of cash from a bank, manage get away and begin to count their money — only to both realize the other guy works for the government.
So begins the trailer of 2 Guns, a forthcoming popcorn movie featuring Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg as the robbers-turned-dueling-federal-agents.

And even though the two strike up a rivalry in the clip, the mood is light as explosions, car chases and gun fights ensue.
“The bank was a set up, we got to figure out whose money that was,” says Washington in the clip. “What, like, we’re working together?” responds Walhberg. And a buddy cop team is born.
The film’s director, Baltasar Kormákur, previously worked with Wahlberg on last January’s Contraband, which grossed over $65 million in U.S. theaters.
2 Guns is scheduled to arrive on screens August 2.
