Monty Python legend John Cleese is adding his voice to the family animated pic Elliot: The Littlest Reindeer, joining a cast that already includes Samantha Bee and Martin Short.
DDI is selling the festive film, based on an award-winning screenplay which tells the story of a miniature horse who attempts to fulfill his lifelong dream of earning a place on Santa’s sleigh.
“Having an iconic comedian like John Cleese join the pairing of Samantha Bee and Martin Short further proves the fun-natured, global family appeal of Elliot,” DDI president Jason Moring said Saturday in a statement.
Cleese, currently heard as the voice of King Gristle Sr. in Trolls, is repped by Anonymous Content, CAA and Independent Talent Group.
