Broad Green’s upcoming horror thriller Wish Upon has signed up Ryan Phillippe and Elisabeth Rohm, who join Joey King and the newly cast Shannon Purser.
The film, directed by John Leonetti (Anabelle) from a script written by Barbara Marshall, is being produced by Sherryl Clark of Busted Shark Productions. The story sees King play a 16-year-old misfit who finds a magic box that promises a chance at the life she’s always wanted — only to discover that each wish demands a deadly payment.
Mister Smith Entertainment will introduce the film, which is currently in preproduction, to buyers at this year’s AFM, which gets underway on Wednesday in Santa Monica.
Phillippe is repped by WME, MGMT Entertainment and attorney David Weber of Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern. Rohm is repped by APA and Zero Gravity. Marshall is repped by APA, Industry Entertainment, and Gendler & Kelly.
