Ahead of the movie’s release next February, Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products has announced information about a significant merchandise push for Robert Rodriguez and James Cameron’s Alita: Battle Angel, with licensing partners including Funko, Loot Crate and Weta Workshop.
Funko has already released a line of Alita Pop! figures, showcasing multiple bodies for the cyborg protagonist of the manga adaptation (including Alita Motorball Body, Alita Doll Body and Alita Berserker Body). There’s also a black and white variant of the Berserker figure available exclusively at FYE stores and online.
Those are far from the only figures to be released from the movie; both Hot Toys and Weta Workshop will release their own figures — with Hot Toys planning a 1:6 scale Alita Berserker figure complete with interchangeable hands and Damascus Blade weapon, and Weta releasing three Alita Mini Epics based on Alita, Dr. Ido and the villainous Zapan.
Available soon for pre-order will be Prime 1 Studio’s Alita Berserker Quarter Scale Statue — which comes in deluxe and regular versions, with a light-up feature in both (an early glimpse can be seen above). If statues aren’t your speed, there will also be cosplay outfits from Rubie’s, as well as a range of book tie-ins from Titan (including prequel novel Alita: Battle Angel — Iron City and the coffee table book Alita: Battle Angel — The Art and Making of the Movie).
Finally, Loot Crate will be releasing a range of items in subscription boxes through January and February, including figures, pins and clothing.
Alita: Battle Angel will open in the U.S. Feb. 14.
