‘American Hustle,’ ‘Her,’ ‘Nebraska’ Among Noms for Debut Location Managers Awards

The location managers of American Hustle, Her and Nebraska are among the nominees for the first annual Location Managers Guild of America Awards, which will be held March 29 at the Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills.

Rounding out the nominees in the category for outstanding achievement by a location professional on a feature film are the location managers of Iron Man 3 and Saving Mr. Banks.

Categories include feature films, TV programs and commercials, as well as one for a film commission.

The LMGA will also present the Eva Monley Award, named in honor of the location manager for Lawrence of Arabia and The African Queen; the Humanitarian Award; and the Lifetime Achievement Award.
