Golden Globes nominee Amy Schumer and her sister Kim Caramele stopped to speak with Ryan Seacrest on E!‘s red carpet and as usual, Schumer was cracking jokes.
Right from the start, she said, “My vagina itched and I asked if I could address it and you said no.”
Her sister jumped in and said, “Just say, ‘I’m excited to be here tonight,’ ” which Schumer repeated obligingly.
She talked about what she learned from making the movie Trainwreck, which she wrote and was strongly influenced by her life. Schumer said that she learned that like her character, she hadn’t been in a good enough place mentally to be in a relationship. “I wasn’t really understanding my own value,” she said.
When Seacrest made a vague reference to her new boyfriend, Schumer just said, “Yeah, I’m in a better place.” She then went on to do a dance at the prompting of her sister and talked about hurting her knuckles while boxing.
Ahead of the Globes, Schumer shared a screengrab of a text with her friend, who asked her if she wanted to hang out tonight. “I have plans tonight,” she texted back.
