Andrea Anders and Matt Passmore are leading the cast for Is That a Gun In Your Pocket? an indie gun control comedy that is shooting in the Los Angeles area, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.
The cast also includes Cloris Leachman, Lauren Bowles, Horatio Sanz, Kevin Conway, John Michael Higgins, Christine Estabrook, John Heard, Max Lloyd-Jones, Chad James Buchanan and Katherine McNamara.

Matt Cooper wrote the script and is directing the story that centers on a woman (Anders) who, after her 12-year old son accidentally shoots a school crossing guard, decides that a sex boycott is the only way to get rid of all the guns in her tiny Texas town.
Passmore is her gun enthusiast husband who has to deal with a sex strike.
Lori Miller and Cooper are producing the movie, which is inspired by the ancient Greek play Lysistrata.

Passmore is one of the stars of USA drama Satisfaction, recently picked up for a second season. He also starred in the A&E series The Glades. The actor is repped by WME and ROAR.
Anders may be best known for her co-starring work on NBC’s Joey, and has recently appeared in Modern Family and About a Boy. She is repped by Gersh and JR Talent Group.
Cooper has previously produced such films as Last Supper, starring Cameron Diaz, and Panic, which starred William H. Macy. He also wrote, produced and directed Perfect Opposites, which starred Aaron Paul.
